Session Plan
There were two sessions conducted
- Session with Graduate (Masters) Students: "Bridging Research and Industry: AI, Machine Learning, and Explainability"
A discussion into AI and ML applications, challenges of Explainability in AI (XAI), and areas for applications with real-world case studies. Discussion on research-to-industry transitions and how graduate students can contribute to Q1 journal publications. - Session with Faculty & Senior Researcher: "Strengthening Academic Excellence and Research Collaborations in AI and Digital Transformation"
A roundtable discussion on faculty research contributions, strategies for increasing Q1 journal publications, and shaping specialized tracks in AI/ML, cybersecurity, and data science. Inputs on the new MSc (CS) and MCA programs in alignment with NEP 2020 and how it can relate to the ABET and AACSB accreditations in the USA.
It was an honor to welcome Professor Bhuvan Unhelkar to Pulchowk Campus and Paschimanchal Campus. The sessions were truly interactive, with faculty and students enthusiastically engaging and asking numerous questions. Prof. Unhelkar enlightened them with his humor and profound knowledge, making the discussions both insightful and enjoyable.
