Center for Applied Research and Development (CARD) in collaboration with Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN) organized a datathon on Jun 3-5 2022 for young digital health advocates to study the open-source Insurance Management Information System (openIMIS) data model and the Thai Diagnosis-related groups (DRGs) -compliant 12-table system. The participants compare both databases and come up with a gap analysis between those two systems.

An open call was made through this website for interested IT students and medical experts. There were 19 registrations from different Campuses under IOE in collaboration with medical domain students or experts from TU, KU, the Nepalese Army, and others.
Among them, 13 groups submitted the result within the allotted time.
An awarding ceremony was held at the Library Hall, Pulchowk campus on Jul 4th between 12:00- 1:00 pm with Prof. Dr. Shashidhar Ram Joshi, Dean, IOE as a Chief Guest and Dr. Alvin Marcelo, Executive Director, AeHIN as a special guest. Here is the schedule of this program.
