The Institute of Engineering (IOE), at present offers three levels of academic courses: diploma, bachelor and master's level programs in different fields of engineering at its four campuses. CARD derives its strength mainly from the wide-range of highly qualified faculty engaged in these academic programs, well-equipped laboratories and related infrastructure at the IOE. The infrastructure includes adequate library holdings, computing facilities, laboratories and associated equipment, technician support in terms of machining and electrical capabilities, secretarial support and administrative services, which includes building and facilities maintenance. The faculty members at IOE have been involved in various research and consulting activities for a long time. Many of them are highly regarded in subject areas such as: Urban planning, Conservation, Building Design Technology, Environment, Structures, Water Resources, Hydropower, Computers, Telecommunications, etc. However, CARD may also make use of manpower or equipment from outside the IOE if need be.
